Meet Karine, the Founder of White Tiger Interiors

 

Karine Dessenne, a French native turned Austinite, founded White Tiger in 2017. She began by designing her own remodeling and new construction projects, then collaborating with clients to bring their visions to life.

Prior to WTI, Karine spent 15 years working in Paris as a product manager in the fashion industry. She then transitioned into the world of interior design, where she prescribed customized high-end lighting designs to architects and interior designers worldwide. Since 2012, her work and passion has taken her to Interior Design and Art Fairs from Maison & Objets in Paris, to Art Basel Miami Beach, Salon del Mobile in Milan, and Light & Building in Frankfurt, keeping herself up-to-date with current industry trends.

Passionate about Art and Design, Karine takes pleasure in exploring new designers and emerging artists. When it comes to achieving harmony, she firmly believes that everything related to nature is crucial and finds solace in incorporating indoor gardens and plants in her designs, recognizing their vital role in nourishing our well-being.
